Sarong Hibiscus
Handcrafted Sarong — Limited Edition
At María Malo, we believe that how something is made matters.
Each sarong we create carries not just color and pattern, but intention, care, and respect for the Earth.
This is not just a garment — it's a slow-made piece, produced one by one in a detailed artisanal process that supports both local communities and sustainable practices.
We work with two carefully selected organic fabrics:
-
Organic Cotton Voile — ultra-light, soft, and slightly see-through, perfect for warmer days.
-
Crupo Lyocell — a heavier fabric with a silky shine and elegant drape, offering a more fluid and sophisticated look.
Available in three natural tones: Indigo, Red, and Camel — all dyed by hand using traditional techniques.
Due to the artisanal process, both the color and the print may show natural irregularities — this is intentional. We welcome these variations as a mark of authenticity. No two sarongs are exactly alike, and that's what makes them special.
Size: 1.10 x 1.70 m — versatile enough to wear as a wrap, skirt, top, or beach throw.
Limited edition of 100 pieces.

Maria Malo's Sizes guide
Every designer has their own take on what a standard fit is all about. María Malo crafting clothes that long to caress your body closely without cramping your style by holding on too tight. To choose the right size in our collection we beseech you: take out your measuring tape, write down the digits and then read the tips below before selecting your size.
The following size chart is a guide to help you choose the best size for your unique body shape. Remember that sizing is reasonably flexible with knitted and stretchy fabrics so we suggest you choose your size according to what kind of fit you like.
Pants are all made with a stretch component so choosing your size is about choosing how fitted you want your garment.
Hold the tape loosely when you measure your bust and make sure you can wriggle your shoulders freely with the tape in place.
For the waist, we recommend looping it around and then moving it up and down to find the narrowest part. Draw the tape firm here and take the measure. Do the same for the hips, but here we find the widest part.
